Peony Seed

Seed collected from various plants in the garden, most are open pollinated (OP), meaning the bees did the work, only the pod parent is known.  This is fresh seed just collected from the 2026 growing season that guarantees easy germination. 

Keep in mind each seed usually produces a plant with different flower forms and colors. Seedlings will generally not look similar to their parents due to the shuffling of genes. It does take special germination requirements to germinate this seed (they are included with your order) and it will take 3-4 years to see your first blooms.

Seed is shipped when ripe, generally Mid to Late August.
